Hi I have working a cluster with differents models of Aps.PS C:\> Import-VM -Path 'C:\ \2B91FEB3-F1E0-4FFF-B8BE-29CED892A95A.vmcx' -Copy -GenerateNewId Imports the virtual machine by copying its files to the default virtual machine and virtual hard drive storage locations of the Hyper-V host.I wouldn't care about it if I could just connect using the IP instead but why wouldn't that work either? I guess I only ever used it just for this, connecting the NFS.

Yes, you can import virtual hard disks created from Microsoft's Virtual PC and VMWare's Workstation products and use VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) and VMDK (VMWare Disk) files. If you need to modify registry keys, use Hiren. I recommend Knoppix (6.4+ - Linux) or Hiren (Windows).
